Itinerary
Day 1 • Sandakan / Bilit / Kinabatangan River
Begin with late morning pickup from your hotel within Sandakan or meet your driver at Sandakan Airport, then travel by road to Bilit beside the Kinabatangan River.
At around 4.00 pm, board a river cruise in search of wildlife along the river corridor. Keep watch for proboscis monkeys, macaques, orangutans, pygmy elephants, hornbills and other birds as your guide follows the riverbanks through the late afternoon.
After the cruise, return to the lodge for an early dinner. You will then travel back to Sandakan for drop-off at your hotel or Sandakan Airport.
